In August 2008, Writer's Digest magazine published an article about TV comedy writers with a panel of eight experts—not one of which was a woman. (See my post, I pee sitting down, therefore I am humorless.)
I was so disgusted by this state of affairs that I decided to write my first ever letter to the editor expressing my outrage. Which, of course, I never did.
Instead, I've decided to adopt that famous slogan, "Blogging well is the best revenge." And thus was born Funny Like a Fox. I'll mostly be linking to videos, articles, and quotes that show off the female funny bone, but I'll also include my own humorous (I hope!) musings on a variety of topics as well as soliciting guest posts from other women who make me laugh.
